As of right now, the Black & Decker Grass Hog is the best and most sought after electric string trimmer out on the market today. As a matter of a fact, many of the customers that have bought it only rated it 4 stars because of the plastic which, let’s face it, isn’t that big of a concern compared to the bigger picture of the actual operations of this fine string trimmer.
I would highly recommend the Black & Decker NST2018 Grass Hog for anyone who doesn’t have very thick or tough stems in their backyards or for people who do not like the smell or noise of its gas driven competitors. As with all electric string trimmers, this is cordless and will require you to charge the battery every so often. Also if you do have some thick or tough stems in your yard, I would recommend switching the line to a thicker and much tougher line so that it will be able to trim those stems with little to no harm.
Now, you may say that this is all well and good, but what is its price range? Well to simply put it, it is the best bang for its buck! It has very little negative qualities; only one that I can think of is its battery life which isn’t that bad at all. The WORX GT WG151.5 is able to get such a higher rating because it is able to handle most of any yard work available and able to do so efficiently and quickly with its innovative ergonomic design. This design allows the users to comfortably and efficiently handle any environment that might be on the yard. It can even reach below shrubs that others can’t because of this design!
Many people go with the WORX GT151.5 because it is able to handle the most weeds and grasses combined with its lightweight, electric driven motor and of course the ergonomic design. You just simply can’t go wrong with this electric string trimmer. It takes both the gas string trimmer’s pros and the electric string trimmers cons can combines them with minimal setbacks! In fact, it will be so capable that even your neighbors might want to give it a test! Now, there are still one minor issue on this electric string trimmer and that is that it is so powerful that it takes out all the battery life! However, if you have an extra Black & Decker battery lying around, this it’s easy to overcome this obstacle.
